Many ask if this site is a joke, or if the confessions on this site are all real. The only thing we at make a confession can say is: "The site is what people make it". Because most of our confessions are unmoderated, some people make things up, and some people tell the truth. There's a mix of both. We'd like to keep the site to 100% truthful confessions, but we can't control what people feel they have to confess, nor can we tell exactly what is true or not.

Anyway....

The rules are simple. If you've got something to CONFESS, confess it! If you'd like to just get something off your chest, then this is the perfect place for you to do it. You can even allow people to RESPOND to your confessions anonymously, but you don't have to! The possibilities are endless, and the choices are yours!

One more thing before you go ahead and have your fun. Make a confession dot com (this website which you are viewing right now) holds absolutely no responsibility for any content on this website. ALL confessions and responses are anonymous, and although we'll make every effort to keep the site as appropriate as possible, we can't guarantee any level of moderation for the content of the site. So again, makeaconfession.com and its creators/maintainers hold no responsibility whatsoever for any content on this site that is user-submitted, including but not limited to confessons and responses. You get the jist :) Just keep that in mind.
